This Flexible Working Policy is designed to help ensure that Employers comply with the obligations imposed on them by law, in respect of their employee’s right to ask for flexible working hours. This has been updated to comply with 1st April Regulation changes in respect of child age limit increasing from 6 to 16 years of age. The Flexible Working Policy is fully up to date with changes in legislation that now grant the right to apply to work flexibly to employees who care for adults as well as those with young or disabled children. This Policy also provides employers with the option of exceeding their legal obligations, if they wish to, by granting the right to request flexible work to all employees.
