Document Description
This Recruitment Policy has been updated in accordance with current best practice. It has been amended to provide specific protection to the Company in respect of the Age Discrimination Regulations that came into effect 1st October 2006, and broadened to include other issues relating to discrimination.

The other documents that have also been updated in relation to age discrimination are the Equality and Diversity Policy (Equal Opportunity Policy), Job Application Forms and Guidance Notes, Monitoring Forms and associated Control Sheets, Harassment Policy (Bullying Policy), and Interview Guidance Notes.

The Recruitment Policy provides a general statement in respect of equality and diversity (equal opportunities) and the recruitment process, and provides greater detail for the following:
